A&M Recording Studios The Recording Connection first set me up in a recording studio in Denver, Colorado, where I first learned to align tape machines and do 2nd assistant work. Then I made the decision to move to Los Angeles, California. The transition that The Recording Connection did for me was very easy. I immediately became a student at A&M Recording Studios--one of the finest studios in the nation. I coudn't have gotten in as a student, had it not been for the perserverance and the belief that The Recording Connection had for me. I continued to study first hand knowledge from the studio technicians and various engineers and producers. The knowledge I attained from this education not only got me a job as a full-time employee, but it also allowed me to be able to do assistant work on sessions and pro-sessions, as well. There aren't words that can express my gratitute to The Recording Connection for all the help and support that I've received. I highly recommend this program to anyone wanting to start out in the recording industry. I've asked other engineers about the schools they attended, and I discovered that my education was just as beneficial (if not more so) and even more inexpensive than other schools. The only way to learn about engineering is by hands on training. Sitting in a classroom, studying the decibel for 4 months does not make a great engineer. To be a good engineer requires an intense desire, practical talent, gumption and intestinal fortitude. The only way that I could've discovered that was by being a part of the real thing . . . which is what The Recording Connection has to offer. Thank you, again, for all of your help!!
