WJOD I'm happy to report that my Radio Connection Student, Craig Olson, has landed a job with KDTH in Dubuque, Iowa. It doesn't surprise me that he has a job so quickly. Craig learns quickly and has a lot of natural talent but most important, he had the Radio Connection course! He has training in practically every phase of radio, copywriting and production, news gathering and reporting, on air, etc. He was trained by a broadcaster in a broadcast facility. The Radio Connection course gave him a huge advantage over other job applicants and provided him with the kind of training most program directors simply don't have the time to provide to an entry level broadcaster.
