Dear Jim,

I would like to begin this letter saying to the many people who read this that I am a real person from Salt Lake City, who is currently participating in the Radio Connection program, and my I say that it really works. (Too bad they don't have a course for typing.)

I've wanted to be a DJ since I was a kid, but I never had the connections to get into radio, in other words, my dad doesn't own a station. When I read about the Radio Connection in the newspaper, I called (expecting a hoax) and signed myself up.

I wanted to work at KISN 97, and the Radio Connection got me an interview set up, and they hired me on to start at the starting of the year (1995).

I actually started my training about 10 days ago, and already the program director has offered me a job as the weekend board operator. By the way, I did accept it.

I am so surprised how fast things have been going for me. I had just sent in my first assignment, when I was offered the job, and I can thank The Radio Connection for helping me get my foot in the door.

I would suggest this program to anyone who is interested in the radio business. Keep up the good work.

Your Friend,

Eric C. Taylor
