Dear Jimi,

I wanted to drop you a line to let you know how impressed I am with your concept and program for hopeful's wanting to break into film and television.

I wish I would have heard of you before I went off to film school. Why? Well after I finally finished my time at the Academy and after spending close to $100,000 on my education I could not get a job anywhere. After nearly two years of knocking on doors guess what? Nothing!

The funny thing is that I used your concept (on my own) to finally get a job in the business. My girlfriend's mother was working at New Line in the finance department. She introduced me to some of the people in production and I luckily got an internship. They flat out told me they could care less about my education. Keep in mind this was an internship with no pay! That's right after all that schooling, time and tuition I now got a chance to work in the business, for free.

After proving myself for over a year in the internship I was finally able to land a position with the company. Don't say it, I already know what money and time you would have saved me. Anyway I really believe in what you do.

Congratulations and let me know if I can be of any help.

Sincerely,

David Miller
